Terms of Service

Effective November 1, 2026 · Questions: support@kickforgood.com · See also our Privacy Policy

These terms are an agreement between you and Kick For Good ("we," "us") for using our website, apps and services. By creating an account, applying for a club, or giving through Kick For Good, you agree to them.

1. Who can use Kick For Good

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Players are minors and do not have accounts; a parent or legal guardian creates and controls each player's profile. If you apply for a club, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that club.

2. What we do, and what we don't

Kick For Good provides software that helps youth sports clubs run fundraising campaigns: player pages, leaderboards, giving, receipts, reports and related tools. Gifts are made to the club, not to Kick For Good and not to an individual child. We are not a charity, we do not hold club funds, and we do not guarantee how much any campaign will raise.

3. Clubs

  • Accurate information. You'll keep your club's details accurate, including organization type, legal name and EIN. These decide what your donors' receipts say.
  • Your responsibilities. Your club is responsible for its tax status, any state charitable-solicitation registrations, how it uses the money it raises, keeping its own records, and following the laws that apply to it.
  • Approval. We review every club before it goes live and may decline, suspend or remove a club that provides false information, misuses funds, or breaks these terms.
  • Payments through Stripe. Donations are processed by Stripe and paid to your club's own Stripe account, then to your bank. To receive payments you must accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. Stripe may ask for identity and bank details and may hold or reverse payments under its own policies.
  • Fees. There's no fee to join and no monthly charge. Each online card gift carries a platform fee, which already includes card processing. Your club's rate is shown in your portal and deducted automatically from each gift. Donors may choose to add an amount so your club receives their full intended gift. If your rate changes, we email you right away, and the new rate applies only to gifts made after the change. Kick For Good accepts online gifts only (card, Apple Pay and Google Pay); cash and checks are not recorded on the platform.
  • Refunds and disputes. Your club decides whether to refund a gift. Tell us and we'll process it through Stripe; the gift is then removed from your totals. If a donor disputes a charge, Stripe's dispute process applies and we'll help you respond.
  • Players and families. You'll approve only real members of your club, and you'll use family contact details only to run your club's fundraising.

4. Campaigns, contests and awards

A campaign may include a friendly fundraising competition. The club chooses the rule (most money raised or most gifts), the prize and when results are announced. Winners are decided by fundraising results, not by chance, and nobody pays to enter. The club is solely responsible for describing, awarding and delivering its prize. When results are announced, the top three finishers receive digital certificates that appear on their player pages. Sponsor matches are promises between the sponsor and the club; the sponsor pays the club directly.

5. Scholarships

A club may offer scholarships and may set a fundraising milestone. Reaching the milestone lets a family apply; it does not guarantee an award. Each club decides, in its own discretion, whether to award a scholarship, how much, and how it is paid.

Kick For Good Scholarship Challenges

Separately from club scholarships, Kick For Good may run its own scholarship challenges. Each challenge has its own dates, qualifying amount, prizes and official rules on its challenge page. Challenge scholarships are funded by Kick For Good, not by donations, are decided by fundraising results rather than chance, need no purchase or payment to enter, and are paid to the player's club or directly to the program they are for, never as cash. A parent or guardian must accept the award, and we may request information needed for tax reporting. We may disqualify entries involving fraud or self-funded gifts.

6. Parents and guardians

You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of each player you add and that you have the right to share the information and photos you provide. You choose what appears publicly and can change or remove it at any time.

7. Supporters

Your gift goes to the club named on the page. Whether a gift is tax-deductible depends on the club's tax status, and your receipt will say so; please ask your tax advisor if you're unsure. Gifts are generally final; contact the club, whose email is on your receipt, about any mistake. Monthly gifts continue until you cancel, which you can do anytime from the link in any receipt.

8. Messages

We send service messages such as receipts, gift alerts and approvals. Marketing emails and texts are sent only if you opt in. For texts, message frequency varies (up to 4 marketing texts per month), message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Invitations a family sends to its own contacts include at most two reminders and an unsubscribe link.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use Kick For Good to raise money under false pretenses, impersonate anyone, post content that's unlawful, hateful, sexual or harmful to minors, harass anyone, collect information about other users, interfere with the service, or break any law. We may remove content or accounts that do.

10. Your content

You keep ownership of the logos, photos and text you upload. You give us permission to host and display them as needed to run the service and to show your campaign. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Kick For Good accurate and available, but the service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren't responsible for the actions of clubs, families, supporters, sponsors or third-party services such as Stripe.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kick For Good won't be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the platform fees we received from you, or on your club's behalf, in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnity

If you're a club, you'll defend and hold Kick For Good harmless from claims arising from your campaigns, prizes, scholarships, use of funds, or violation of these terms or the law.

14. Ending things

You can stop using Kick For Good at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as fees owed, disclaimers and limits of liability, will survive.

15. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll post it here with a new effective date and, when appropriate, email you. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
